God’s Word Says:

(1) One must realize that they are a sinner and need to be saved

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one”

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”

(2) One must realize that sin brings death

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”

(3) One must recognize that Christ died for the sinner to be saved

Romans 5:8 “But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”

(4) One must be willing to confess and repent of their sins

Romans 2:4 “…not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

(5) One must be willing to call upon the name of Jesus and receive Him

Romans 10:12 “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”

(6) One must be willing to accept God’s word as his assurance of salvation and peace

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”

(7) Then for victory in a person’s daily life, one must yield to Jesus as Lord

Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”

(8) If you are willing to call upon the Lord for salvation right now …

Just open your heart to God and pray this simple prayer:
God, be merciful to me a sinner and forgive my sins and save my soul in Jesus name. Amen
